Pasaraya was first present under the name Sarinah Jaya on 27 March 1974, which aims to become a leading department store in Indonesia which focuses on providing traditional arts and crafts products. The location was originally located on the third floor of the building Sarinah, Jl. MH Thamrin, Jakarta. Sarinah Jaya soon found its axis and became famous for its uniqueness of authentic goods and came from all over Indonesia.
